LAROUCHE YOUTH MOVEMENT REPORT:
 BEAUTY AS A POLITICAL WEAPON

Once again, the Saturday night meeting of the Philadelphia and New Jersey youth movements was a success. A total of about 37 youth attended to hear a strategic briefing given by Steve Douglas and a class on the principles of classical composition given by John Sigerson.

The briefing described how the war is actually an attack on the Eurasian Development, and the Landbridge specifically. Steve exposed the Nazi roots of the Straussians in the War Party and laid out all of the parallels between Hitler's takeover of Germany and the Chickenhawk takeover in the current administration, which, in both cases, plunged the specific country into a needless war.

- INTERNATIONAL BREAKTHROUGH FOR LAROUCHE IN ANTI-WAR MOVEMENT; - - YOUTH MOVEMENT AND AMELIA AT LEIPZIG PEACE VIGIL AND RALLY -

Amelia Boynton Robinson told a crowd of 20,000 to 30,000 people at the weekly Leipzig peace demonstration on Monday, that Lyndon LaRouche represents the tradition of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Martin Luther King in the United States, and that he is leading the fight against the Iraq war today.

These candlelight vigils and demonstrations are at the same site (the St. Nicholas Church), as those that led up to the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989; they resumed about six weeks before the invasion of Iraq was launched, and have escalated since. (Wire reports indicate that as many as 45,000 people participated in yesterday's protest and the march that followed.)

Through the intervention of the LaRouche Youth Movement, it was arranged for Amelia to address the demonstration. Amelia presented herself as an associate of the Rev. Martin Luther King and as a veteran of the civil rights movement, stressing that she has never given up the struggle against injustice and war. After the death of Dr. King, a new leader has arisen in the United States, who stands for everything that Martin Luther King stood for. He is an economist, a scientist, and a candidate for the 2004 Presidential elections. This man is Lyndon LaRouche, Amelia said, and he is leading the fight against the Iraq war inside the U.S.

After Amelia had finished speaking, a rock star came on to "sing," but youth organizer Abdul (from Philadelphia) got up on the podium, and joined Amelia in leading the crowd in singing "Oh, Freedom" -- which they all did, hands clapping. This was followed by "This Little Light o' Mine" -- Amelia's favorite.

The American students from the LaRouche Youth Movement were invited to address the next Leipzig peace rally, next Monday, which is expected to be even bigger than yesterday's.

Upon being briefed on the Youth Movement intervention, Lyn said that this was an event of the highest strategic importance, and he stressed that this represents of continuation of the revolutionary movement of 1989 which brought down the Wall, which then was stymied -- but is now revived with our leadership.
